We checked every page of elivide.com on desktop and on iPhone. This page shows the fixes made so far, with before and after screenshots, and two questions for you.
How to read the screenshots: "Before" is the website as it is today. "After" is the same page with the fix. The screenshots come from a private preview opened outside the UK, so prices show in US dollars. UK shoppers still see pounds.

Fix 1
Star ratings that didn't come from real reviews
The problem: product cards across the website showed 5 gold stars for every product. The stars were part of the page design, not taken from your reviews, so four products showed 5 stars with no reviews at all: The Wholefood Duo, Elevated Energy, Activated Carbon Filter and Multi Spiral Filter. UK consumer law (the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024) bans fake or misleading review information, and stars with no reviews behind them could be seen that way.
The fix: star ratings now come straight from Reviews.io everywhere they appear: collection pages, homepage Best Sellers, "Complete Your Routine" on product pages, and the products shown beside blog articles. Products without reviews show no stars, and the cards still line up neatly.
Your Reviews.io ratings for the bundles
Every product that has reviews averages a full 5.0, so those stars look the same as before. The difference is on products that haven't been reviewed yet.
| Product | Reviews | Before | After |
|---|---|---|---|
| Complete Magnesium Setup | 5 | ★★★★★ | ★★★★★ real rating |
| The Wholefood Duo | 0 | ★★★★★ | No stars |
| Histamine Balance Stack | 1 | ★★★★★ | ★★★★★ real rating |
| Elevated Energy | 0 | ★★★★★ | No stars |

Products shown beside a blog article

When a product gets its first review, its stars appear automatically. If a rating ever drops below 5.0, part-filled stars show correctly in gold.
Fix 2
Theme settings that blocked backups and safe testing
The problem: some old theme settings pointed to options that no longer exist. The live website kept working, but Shopify refused to load the theme into a fresh copy. That blocked making a private test copy, and would also have stopped a backup of the theme from being restored.
The fix: those settings are cleaned up, so the theme now loads cleanly into a new copy. Nothing changes on the website itself.
Question
"Verified Review" quote cards on products without reviews
Product pages have a "See What Our Customers Have to Say" section with quote cards. Each card has 5 stars and a green "Verified Review" tick. The quotes are typed in for each product in Shopify; they don't come from Reviews.io.
Four products with no reviews of their own still show 6 of these cards each: Elevated Energy, The Wholefood Duo, Activated Carbon Filter and Multi Spiral Filter.
- On the two bundles, the quotes are about the products inside them. Elevated Energy's quotes name Metabolic Flow and Magnesium Malate.
- On the two water filters, the quotes are about the filter system, but Reviews.io has no reviews for these two products.
A shopper would read these as verified reviews of the product in front of them, which carries the same risk as the stars in Fix 1.
Elevated Energy, which has no reviews of its own

Needs your input: which would you prefer?
- Label each quote with the product it's about, for example "Review of Metabolic Flow".
- Hide the section on products until they have reviews of their own.
- Show real reviews from Reviews.io in this section instead of typed quotes.
Question
Shop-wide claims shown with 5 stars
Two places show 5 stars about the shop as a whole rather than one product: "4.99 · 10,000+ Orders" at the bottom of the phone menu, and "OVER 10,000+ UNITS SOLD" above the comparison table on product pages. Both are typed in by hand, so they never update by themselves.

Needs your input: can you confirm?
- Are 4.99 and 10,000+ still accurate? If not, what should they say?
- Should the stars stay next to "units sold"? Stars usually suggest a rating, and this line is about sales.
- A small wording point: "OVER 10,000+" says "over" twice. "10,000+ units sold" reads more cleanly.
